7th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus held virtually
The 7th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+) took place on December 10, under the chair of Vietnamese Minister of National Defence, Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich.
Participants at the online meeting agreed to support the maintaining of peace, stability, security, safety and freedom of navigation in the East Sea, peacefully handling disputes in line with international laws.
They said ADMM+ countries should continue enhancing the mutual trust, building capacity to effectively respond to regional security threats, while raising ASEAN’s central role in the region and the world./.
