– With specific goals aimed at changing scientific mindsets and approaches to realise policies, remove barriers and unlock abilities, Resolution 57 will contribute to creating breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation, and laying a strong foundation for the nation's robust development in the new era, Party General Secretary To Lam stated at a conference on January 13.
The conference, which was connected with 15,345 locations nationwide, aimed to review the implementation of resolutions by the Party Central Committee, its Secretariat, and the Politburo on science – technology development, especially Resolution No.57-NQ/TW dated on December 22, 2024 by the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation. – The Vietnamese Party and State have consistently treasured and wished to enhance the traditional friendship with Mongolia across areas, meeting the interests and aspiration of the two countries' people and contributing to maintaining peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world, State President Luong Cuong said on January 13.
Hosting a reception for visiting Chairman of the Presidential Office of Mongolia Gombojav Zandanshatar in Hanoi, the Vietnamese leader congratulated the East Asian country on its achievements over the recent past, with improved local livelihoods and increasing position and prestige in the international arena that have contributed to concretising its “Vision-2050” and the “New Recovery Policy”. – The visit by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, one of the top leaders of Russia, to Vietnam ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (January 30, 1950 - 2025) is a highly symbolic event, a Russian diplomat has said.
Taking to the Vietnam News Agency on the threshold of the Russian PM's official visit on January 14-15 at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam G.S. Bezdetko highlighted the significance of the trip, saying that the two sides will discuss urgent issues in the countries' cooperation across trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields. – A film about the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam has been recently introduced in Beijing by the Film Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC).
Entitled Border Sea, the film was a collaborative production by the Publicity Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Film Bureau. Read full story
– Hanoi remains a bright spot for the supply of landed properties (townhouses and villas), with total supply expected to exceed 7,000 units in 2025, according to a survey by CBRE Vietnam, a foreign real estate service company.
CBRE experts noted that the outlook for the coming years shows that in Hanoi, in addition to the supply from subsequent phases of existing projects, the market will also see new supply from urban development projects in Dan Phuong, Long Bien, and Tay Ho districts within the next 2-3 years.
