- Ho Chi Minh City topped the first-ever Vietnam ProvincialLogistics Competitiveness Index (LCI) 2022, followed by Hai Phong, Binh Duong,and Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Hanoi, according to a report recently announced bythe Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA).

At the report announcing ceremony, VLA Chairman LeDuy Hiep said that during August 2022 – November 2023, the VLA, incollaboration with the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute(VLI) and consulting service provider Dream Incubator, drew the report based ona survey on 26 cities and provinces nationwide with the most outstanding GRDP,volume of transported goods, and number of logistics businesses. Read full story

- Dang Tran Phuong Nhi on November 19 won the first goldmedal for Vietnam in the women's nangun taolu (performance) event at the HYX16th World Wushu Championships (WWC) held in Texas, the US.

Vietnam treasures relations with Solomon Islands: FM

PM urges stronger Vietnam – Laos cooperation in labour, social affairs

The PM suggested the two sides develop new orientations for Vietnam – Laos cooperation in labour and national contributor affairs suited to the evolving context, paving the way for the signing of an agreement in this field to deepen and expand collaboration in the areas within their remit.

Vietnam, Indonesia promote collaboration in personnel training

To formalise cooperation in personnel training and development between the two countries, as well as between the HCMA and Lemhannas, the Vietnamese official suggested that the international cooperation units of both sides create a priority cooperation framework and prepare to sign a memorandum of understanding.

📝OP-ED: Non-local leadership – Both challenge and opportunity for reform

In Conclusion No. 201, issued on October 31, the Politburo and the Secretariat outlined requirements for the provincial and municipal Party congresses for the 2025–2030 term. They stated that by December 15, all positions of provincial People’s Committee chairpersons, heads of inspection commissions, and chief inspectors must be filled by officials who are not from the local area.

Vietnam, India launch bilateral peacekeeping exercise 2025
