Agriculture department rewarded for assistance to Laos

Laos ’ Champasak Province has awarded the Labour Order, third class, to Binh Dinh province’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for its contributions to boosting the two countries’ relations.
Laos ’ Champasak Province has awarded the Labour Order, thirdclass, to Binh Dinh province’s Department of Agriculture and RuralDevelopment for its contributions to boosting the two countries’relations.

According to Decree 157 of Lao’sPresident Chummaly Sayasone and Decision 155 of the Prime Minister, theDepartment has over the past years supported Champasak province incultivation and breeding. It has also provided numerous agriculturalequipment, plant varieties and animal breeds for the Agro-forestryDepartment of Champasak province.

The decree anddecision also say the department has made important contributions toenhancing the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensivecooperation between Laos and Vietnam .

BinhDinh province is twinned with Champasak. In recent years, more and moreBinh Dinh entrepreneurs have run business in Champasak province,especially in the agro-forestry field./.
