AO victims’ fight for justice portrayed in photos

Photographs depicting Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims’ efforts to seek justice are being exhibited in Ho Chi Minh City to help the public get insight into how hard the struggle has been.
Photographs depicting Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims’ efforts toseek justice are being exhibited in Ho Chi Minh City to help the publicget insight into how hard the struggle has been.

The event,opened on August 9, is as part of activities to mark the 52ndanniversary of AO/Dioxin catastrophe in Vietnam (1961-2013) and the10th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Association of Victims of AO/dioxin (VAVA).

The photos feature VAVA’s activities overthe past decade, Vietnamese AO victims’ lawsuit in the US , and lifeof children who were exposed to AO/dioxin as well as their integrationefforts.

The organisers said they hope the exhibition willencourage young people to learn more about severe consequences left overby the war and difficulties facing AO victims in Vietnam .
 
It will call on the community to join hand in surmounting theconsequences and assisting the victims in their struggle for justice.

The exhibition is taking place concurrently at the YouthCultural Palace, the Women Cultural palace and the Museum of WarRemnants till August 15.-VNA

Visitors enjoy Thai environment, lifestyle at Hanoi festival

At the Thai Festival, from March 28 night to March 30 morning in Hanoi, visitors explored typical Thai dishes, along with health care and beauty care products and traditional handicrafts.
