A competition of architectural designs featuring Southeast Asian identity has been launched, calling for architects from ASEAN member countries, China, the Republic of Korea and Japan to submit their works.
The contest aims to foster unity and solidarity among regional countries through the representation of cultural values of the ASEAN Community.
Entries submitted for national selection will include designs for museums and relic restoration projects.
They are expected to highlight Vietnamese architectural features and correspond with the East Asian architectural identity.
Entries are to be submitted to the Ministry’s of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Department of Cultural Heritage at 51 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
The deadline is 4:30 pm on January 10.-VNA
