Vietnam’s permanent delegation to the United Nations, the World TradeOrganisation and other international organisations in Geneva joinedthose from other ASEAN member nations, and international orgnanisationsin Geneva, Switzerland, for an ASEAN Day on June 13.
Hosted by the Cambodian delegation, the event was part of the ASEAN Sports and Family Festival 2015.
The diplomats and their families participated in various sportscompetitions, including football, tennis, tug of war, and traditionalgames.
They also enjoyed traditional foods of each country.
The ASEAN Day contributed to promoting the friendship within ASEAN and between ASEAN and international friends.-VNA
