The Vietnam-Hungary Friendship Association (VHFA) of Hanoi aims to promote its role as a bridge in economic, cultural, sport and tourism cooperation between the two countries and their capital cities during the 2019-2024 tenure.

– The Vietnam-Hungary Friendship Association (VHFA) of Hanoiaims to promote its role as a bridge in economic, cultural, sport and tourismcooperation between the two countries and their capital cities during the2019-2024 tenure.

Ata congress on November 23, the association set specific targets for the nextfive years such as expanding its network, organising activities to mark the 70th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic ties and holding seminarswith small- and medium-sized enterprises of both countries to get updates onHungary’s economic models.

Besides,the association will step up the communication work to promote the image ofVietnam and Hanoi in particular, as well as achievements Vietnam has recordedin reform and integration process.

VoVan Mai, President of the VHFA of Hanoi (third tenure), said the association nowhas eight chapters with 400 members representing different departments andlocalities.  

Thecongress elected a 25-member executive board for the new term headed by Dang VuNhat Thang, former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Son Tay township whichset up twining relationship with the Hungarian capital city of Budapest./.

Vietnam, EU strengthen judicial cooperation
