Hanoi (VNA) – The ongoing inaugural Autumn Fair 2025 in Hanoi is not only a cultural and tourism event, but also a major national trade promotion activity, offering a “golden” opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to seek new partners, promote their brands and expand into potential markets.
Dang Thi Huong, a representative of Minh Tam ceramic workshop from Phu Lang pottery village in the northern province of Bac Ninh, said the purpose of their participation was to introduce the village’s craftsmanship dating back more than 800 years to both domestic and international visitors.
She expressed her hope of connecting with interior design companies, distributors and service providers nationwide to broaden market access, while calling for greater support from management agencies to promote Vietnamese ceramics and traditional craft villages abroad.
A Ma Cao, a sales director of Tay Bac TV company, said the firm aimed to showcase natural products from the northern province of Lai Chau. The firm has already established links with two potential partners – a pharmaceutical manufacturer and a herbal medicine company, opening up promising prospects for future collaboration.
From the southern province of An Giang, Dang Thanh Thien Hau, Director of FanZa Bird’s Nest Co., Ltd., said her company has connected with a Chinese partner and received several cooperation proposals from domestic enterprises, including offers to introduce its products on e-commerce platforms to reach a wider range of consumers.
With its large scale and the expectation of hundreds of thousands of visitors each day, the Autumn Fair 2025 presents vast opportunities for businesses to access their target customers directly. The event serves as a vital bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen international integration, exchange experience and adopt technology transfer in key areas such as green economy and circular economy.
Nguyen Duc Hoa, an account management specialist at Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, said the platform is rolling out a number of programmes to help Vietnamese businesses reach overseas markets.
According to Hoa, new participants are offered free training and first-year support in sales skills, market research and operational management. If they meet the required standards, they will later be invited to join advanced development programmes focusing on specialised themes each year to expand their scale and enhance competitiveness.
He added that this year’s exhibitors range from large corporations ready for export to small and household businesses. The latter focus on Vietnam’s strengths, including OCOP-certified products, specialty agricultural goods, handcrafted materials, wooden items and outsourced products. Some 200 firm have already accessed information and support programmes from Amazon Global Selling Vietnam./.
