Bac Ninh (VNA) – The People's Committee of Bac Giang ward, Bac Ninh province held a meeting with businessmen and enterprises to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13) on October 10.
This activity aims to express gratitude and honor the great contributions of the business community in the ward.
Speaking at the event, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Giang ward Dang Dinh Hoan gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation of Bac Giang ward in recent times, especially after the merger of seven major wards of the former Bac Giang city.
The rearrangement of the administrative apparatus has created more favorable conditions for management, attracting investment and improving the quality of service for people and businesses, he said.
Currently, Bac Giang ward has nearly 1,300 enterprises and about 7,000 individual business households in operation. Hoan highly appreciated the dynamism, innovation and efforts to overcome difficulties of the business community and entrepreneurs, and emphasised that the business force has made an important contribution to maintaining economic growth, creating jobs and ensuring social security in the area.
Through the event, the leaders of Bac Giang ward once again affirmed their commitment to always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to feel secure in investing, producing and doing business in the long term. At the same time, Bac Giang ward continues to promote administrative procedure reform, improve operational efficiency and support businesses in accessing preferential policies on land, capital, taxes and human resource training.
Within the framework of the program, many businesses and entrepreneurs were awarded Medals and Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry for their outstanding achievements in production and business activities, actively contributing to the local economic and social development./.
