Hanoi (VNA) - President Truong Tan Sang on December 4 sent a message of congratulations to the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, on his 88th birthday and the country’s National Day (December 5).

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung cabled a congratulatory message to his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-ocha.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also extended his greetings to Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai on the King’s birthday.

Under the 66-year reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thailand has recorded great achievements in all aspects, especially in economy, culture, science and technology.-VNA
