Brilliant copperpod flowers light up Son Tra peninsula

From late March to early April, the vibrant yellow blossoms of copperpod trees, also known as yellow-flamboyant, or yellow-flame, come into full bloom across Son Tra peninsula in Tho Quang ward, Da Nang city, standing out strikingly against the lush green of the forested mountains. This area is also home to a rich array of wildlife, including the endangered brown-shanked douc langur - dubbed the "Queen of Primates"- as well as squirrels and nectar-feeding birds.
