Dong Xoai city – Drastic changes since liberation

Dong Xoai, the capital city of Binh Phuoc province, was officially recognized as a city in 2018, becoming one of the youngest cities in the Southeastern region. Over 50 years since its liberation (December 26, 1974 – 2025), and especially after seven years with the city status, Dong Xoai has transformed from a war-torn land into a dynamic, modern, and civilized urban center. The city’s economic structure has shifted in the right direction, maintaining a high annual economic growth rate of around 15%, rapidly increasing budget revenues, and achieving an annual per capita income of some 4.850 USD.
