According to Mean Chivon, as of July 2014 there are51,783 people living with HIV/AIDS, of them 3,902 are children, havebeen provided with antiretroviral treatment, the Cambodian News Agency(AKP) reported.
Across Cambodia, 63 service centres are serving the infected adults and 35 others are serving the infected children.
Thoughthe price is higher, the Cambodian government has so far opted forTenofovir drug for the people living with HIV/AIDS because it has lessside-effect.
The medication cost between 157 and 500 USD per person, depending on their severity, according to AKP.-VNA
