Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Ministerof Cambodia Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen starts an official visitto Vietnam on December 6.

The visit from December 6 to 8is made at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

This will be the first officialtrip to Vietnam by PM Hun Sen since Cambodia set up its sixth-tenure Governmentlast September. It is also on the threshold of the 40th anniversary of thevictory over the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime (January 7, 1979), which Cambodiawon with Vietnam’s support.

Vietnam and Cambodia establisheddiplomatic ties on June 24, 1967, and have maintained mutual high-rankingvisits as well as delegation exchanges between their ministries, sectors andlocalities.

The two countries are enjoyingflourishing friendship and cooperation, which have been nurtured by generationsof the two countries’ leaders and people.-VNA

US Ambassador awarded Friendship Order

The honour was presented by Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, on behalf of State President Luong Cuong, at a ceremony in Hanoi. Vietnam seeks stronger partnership with Singapore

The Deputy PM expressed his hope that Lee will continue to support efforts to further advance Vietnam–Singapore relations in a more practical and effective manner, as well as provide advice and share experience in developing financial centres and promoting connectivity between the two countries’ international financial centres.
