Cities and provinces across Vietnam were transformed into stunning localities with music, colourful lights and decorations as Christmas atmosphere is bustling in every corner of the country.

With more than two weeks still to go until Christmas, a festive atmosphere has started to grip everywhere around Vietnam. Given the complex development of COVID-19, many people have instigated preventive measures to celebrate a Christmas of peace and joy.

A winter tourism festival is underway in Sapa town in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai. Tourists to the town during this time can experience a Christmas atmosphere with a Japanese-style snow village and well-decorated pine trees.
