Duringthe visit, the delegation had working sessions with the Indian Councilfor Cultural Affairs, the Foreign Ministry, the Culture Ministry andsome press agencies.

The Indian hosts expressed their fine sentiments about the Vietnamese people and land, especially President Ho Chi Minh.

Theyreviewed cooperation activities with Vietnamese agencies in recentyears. Noteworthy were works to speed up the signing of culturalexchange prgrammes from 2011-2013, sending experts to help Vietnam topreserve My Son heritage in Quang Nam province and cooperation withthe National Library of Vietnam.

The Indian Council for CulturalAffairs said that it is actively coordinating with Vietnam to set upan Indian Culture Centre in Vietnam and a Vietnamese Culture Centre inIndia , to contribute to exchanging and promoting the traditionalculture of each country.

The Vietnamese delegation sharedexperience with Indian press agencies in organising, advertising andpublishing in the current period of international integration andinformation boom./.
