Vietnam congratulates Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan on his re-election as President of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ).
This statement was made by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga while answering reporters about Vietnam ’s response to the Japanese PM’s re-election as DPJ leader.
“Vietnam strongly believes that PM Naoto Kan and his party will continue making active contributions to developing the Vietnam-Japan relationship in line with the aspirations and interests of the two countries’ people, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large,” she said./.
