Contest encourages reading culture

The Centre for Development of Reading Culture and Lifelong Learning, in collaboration with the Vietnam Blind Association, has launched the “Reading books together, overcoming challenges” contest to help people, especially those with disabilities and the blind, improve their awareness of the role of lifelong learning in personal and social development.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Centre for Development of Reading Culture andLifelong Learning, in collaboration with the Vietnam Blind Association, haslaunched the “Reading books together, overcoming challenges” contest to helppeople, especially those with disabilities and the blind, improve their awarenessof the role of lifelong learning in personal and social development.

The contest is open to people who are studying, working andliving in Vietnam, including blind and disabled persons, and aged from seven.

Candidates can choose one of three forms: articles, videoclips or audios, and can send their entries online to the email address of theorganizers: Cungbandocsachvn@gmail.com from October 10 to November 30.

The organisers plan to announce winners in the third week ofDecember./.
