COVID-19: Tay Ninh suspends activities at auxiliary border gates

The People’s Committee of southern Tay Ninh province has decided to suspend all travelling and trading activities at auxiliary border gates and border line trails for 30 days starting from 0:00 on March 19.

TayNinh (VNA) – The People’s Committee of southern Tay Ninh province has decidedto suspend all travelling and trading activities at auxiliary border gates and borderline trails for 30 days starting from 0:00 on March 19.

These activities are still going on at MocBai and Xa Mat international border gates and Ka Tum, Chang Riec, Phuoc Tan,and Tong Le Chan main ones but with enhanced medical control.

On March 18 - 19, theprovincial Border Guard High Command coordinated with the public security andmilitary forces in Ben Cau district to bring 292 people entering the localityvia Moc Bai international border gate to the concentrated quarantine area inCam Giang commune, Go Dau district. Seven of them were brought to medical facilities for quarantine./.

During the same period, the Hanoi Traffic Operation Centre, in coordination with bus operators, will also waive fares on subsidised bus services. The programme will apply to 128 subsidised routes citywide over the nine days, with passengers granted tickets according to route pricing but paying no fare.
