About 20,000 people have visited the Da Lat flower exhibition and street flower displays held at the flower garden of the resort city of Da Lat in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong in the last 15 days.

Lam Dong (VNA) – About 20,000 people have visited the Da Lat flower exhibition and street flower displays held at the flower garden of the resort city of Da Lat in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong in the last 15 days.

The exhibition and a contest featuring street flower space were part of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival, which runs until the end of this year.

Closing the exhibition and the contest on December 20, the Da Lat city People’s Committee said that the events made the city’s flower garden the most attractive destination in the flower festival this year.

Meanwhile, other activities have been held in the city in response to the festival.

Notably, on December 20 evening, the municipal People’s Committee held the finals and awarded prizes to winners of a short film contest about Da Lat. For over two months, the contest received over 2,600 entries.

The same day, in Bao Loc city, a fashion show “Lua va em” (Silk and you) also took place, promoting the local signature product.

Featuring 45 programmes, the Da Lat Flower Festival, starting from December 5, aims to elevate its profile to national and international levels, and continue to promote Da Lat, a locality in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, as a city of flower festival and a UNESCO Creative City in music./.
