The wild sunflower is considered a winter flower since it only blooms during this season. In Dien Bien province, the wild sunflowers have entered their blossoming season, creating a luscious yellow blanket over the landscape.
The flower is a favoured subject for photographers, who flock together at Highway No.279 and Keo Lom pass to capture the beauty of the flowers.
