The contribution of 5G to the national GDP growth is forecast to reach 7.34 percent by 2025, the World Mobile Broadband & ICT 2021 conference was told in Hanoi on March 25.
The Vietnam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIC), in collaboration with NetNam JSC, has piloted two i-Speed Internet speed measuring stations in Singapore and Hong Kong (China) since September 5.
Viettel has successfully researched, tested and established a 5G data transmission speed of more than 4.7Gb per second. This speed is 40 times higher than the 4G speed and more than two times the existing 5G speed, making Viettel one of the fastest 5G telecom networks in Asia.
