Hanoi (VNA) - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt AbdelFattah el-Sisi will make a State visit to Vietnam on September 6-7.

Thevisit will be made at the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic ofVietnam Tran Dai Quang.

Egypt was the first Arabiancountry to establish relationship with Vietnam. On September 1, 1963, the twonations announced official diplomatic relations.

Trade revenue betweenVietnam and Egypt hit about 314 million USD in 2016, of which Vietnameseexports to Egypt made up 249 million USD.-VNA
