The Hue Central Hospital on Sept. 12 put into use a modern medical waste water treatment system funded by the US ’s East Meets West (EMW) Foundation.

The 425,000 USD system uses advanced equipment from Japan and Taiwan and has a capacity of 850 cu.m per day and night.

After treatment, waste water discharged from the hospital meets Vietnam ’s requirements on environmental hygiene.
