A fine art exhibition is taking place in the Fine Arts Museum in Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France.

Opened on October 15, the exhibition introduces 42 lacquer paintings and ceramic sculptures of five French and 14 Vietnamese artists.

The works depict vividly the diverse cultural and art life in each country.

The event serves to connect French and Vietnamese artists in sharing their ideas, and experience.

It is also an activity to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the two countries’ strategic partnership.

The exhibition opens free for visitors till October 25./.
