Myanmar’s Yangon International Airport was forced to close for more than one hour on the evening of January 21 after being rocked by a serious explosion of nearby fuel tanks.
The blast occurred in an air force soldier recruitment campus in the city’s Mingaladon township, shaking neighboring areas.
More than 60 fire engines were mobilised to the site to fight the fire, enabling the airport to quickly resume its normal operations.-VNA
