Ho Chi Minh City is set to host its first exhibition of seeds this month.
Seeds for flowering and ornamental trees and vegetables, plusbroodstock for aquaculture and livestock brood will be on show, whichhas been organised by the Department, the Suoi Tien Cultural TourismJoint Stock Company, and the Sai Gon Agriculture Corporation.
Pham Thiet Hoa, director of the city’s Centre for Agriculturalconsultancy and Support, said the exhibition would also feature anornamental fish competition and exhibition, with around 25 fish farmstaking part.
Experts would also advise visitors on new technologies in seed and livestock production.
On June 28, a conference will be held on the status of seed productionand supply in HCM City, application of technology in sex selectionof dairy cattle, and other topics.-VNA
