The German Government has pledged 47 million EUR in Official Development Aid (ODA) to Cambodia in the 2013-2014 period, up 1.5 times compared to the previous average amount of 30 million EUR each year.

According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), more than 20 million EUR of the amount will go into the health sector, while 19.6 million EUR is to be spent on rural development. Around 4 million EUR will be used to help Cambodia enhance international cooperation and project management, and 3.5 million EUR is for feasible studies of projects in the next phase.
