Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam won four gold medals on the first day of competition of the 2016 SEAGZone Artistic Junior & Age Groups Championships at Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi on August 26.

The team won the medals in the men’s and women’s team and all-around events.

Malaysia took two silver medals in the men’s and women’s team and two bronzes in the men’s and women’s all-around.

Singapore received two bronzes in the men’s and women’s team.

The event, held for the first time in Vietnam, has attracted the participation of 30 gymnasts from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines and 57 Vietnamese gymnasts. The championship will close on August 28.-VNA
