Thousands of youths will participate in street art activities in downtown Hanoi on March 23 to celebrate the 83th anniversary of the Communist Youth Union (March 26).
The Street Arts Festival 2014 includes street magic, Chinese chess and badminton competitions, sketching and calligraphy, and hip hop, yosaiko and flashmob dancing.
These activities will be held at Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung district, Ly Tu Trong Statue in Ba Dinh district, Ly Thai To Park in Hoan Kiem district and Nguyen Trai Statue in Ha Dong district.
The participants will receive modern and folk handmade gifts from street art fans.
This is the second time that such a festival is being organised as part of the activities to celebrate the ‘I Love Hanoi’ movement and the ‘Year of Youth Volunteers 2014’.
The events will take place between 8.30am and 4pm.-VNA
