Hanoi(VNA) – Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has affirmedthat with its various advantages and potential, the city is willing to offer allpossible support to Moroccan investors to access the Vietnamese market.

Chung made theconfirmation during a meeting with Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam AzzeddineFerhane in Hanoi on June 28.

The city’s leaderapproved the ambassador’s proposal to upgrade the Morocco Gate in Tan Linhcommune in the outlying district of Ba Vi on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of bilateral Vietnam-Morocco diplomatic ties, considering it asymbol of close ties between the two countries.

Ferhane, for hispart, said the two nations boast potential for cooperation in various fields asVietnam is a gateway to ASEAN while Morocco is a gateway to Africa.

As the twocapitals share a range of similarities, the ambassador hoped that Hanoi andRabat could become twin cities in order to promote comprehensive relations.-VNA
