Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi is willing to cooperate with and learn from Russian enterprises’ experience in building an e-Government, said Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.

Chung made the remark during a reception in Hanoi on February 19 for a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, during which he expressed his belief that the partnership between Vietnam and Russia as well as Hanoi - Moscow cooperation will only grow stronger.

He showed his admiration for achievements made by Russia in e-Government development, including inter-ministerial and inter-sectorial and action systems and a national platform system for processing dispersed data.

Mikhail Mamonov, Russian Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, who is leading the delegation, shared Russia’s experience in building Moscow’s public administrative model and developing smart cities, and the possibility of applying these models in Vietnam.

He talked the design of a national public service portals, solutions to a national services portal and information systems in interaction with people and businesses.

He gave advice on building a cyber information security centre for Vietnam’s Government office to ensure cyber security. -VNA
