Hanoi starts shutting down all food and beverage establishments as well as hair salons and beauty parlors from 12:00 on May 25 so as to contain the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered localities and ministries and competent agencies to expeditiously work to contain COVID-19 in more than 300 industrial parks nationwide so as to prevent the disruption of the supply chain.
Vietnam confirmed 100 new COVID-19 cases, all local infections, over the last 6 hours to 12pm on May 25, raising the national tally to 5,561, the Ministry of Health announced.
