These car parks will be constructed beneath public spaces such asparks, squares, and gardens. Spanning a total of 104 hectares, each car parkwill consist of three to four storeys.
The city’s authorities will also repurpose existing car parks inhistoric inner-city areas to create underground and multi-storey parking zones.
Based on Hanoi's recently approved underground space plan, thecity's subterranean area will encompass 756 square metres across 20 districts,with a maximum depth of 30 metres.
