Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on March 30 held talks with a delegation from the Beijing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

At the talks, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on their cooperation in the 2017-2019 period.

The cooperation will focus on boosting communication activities on the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries; increasing exchanges and mutual visits.

The two sides will share working experience and information, and encourage the organisation of Vietnam-China friendship activities in the two capital cities.

Chairman of the VFF Hanoi Committee Vu Hong Khanh and Chairman of the Beijing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Ji Lin also briefed each other on the economic and social situations of the two capitals and exchanged experience on their organisations’ work.-VNA
