Ho Chi Minh City marks 50th anniversary with 3D mapping art show

On the evening of July 1, Ho Chi Minh City launched a large-scale 3D mapping art programme at the headquarters of the municipal People’s Committee to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Saigon–Gia Dinh being renamed Ho Chi Minh City (2 July 1976 – 2 July 2026). The projection show transformed the building’s facade into a vivid visual canvas, highlighting cultural symbols and key milestones in the city’s development as part of the anniversary celebrations.
