Vietnam marks National Day for Drug Prevention and Control

In 2001, the Vietnamese Government designated June 26 each year as National Day for Drug Prevention and Control, aligning with the United Nations General Assembly’s 1987 decision and demonstrating Vietnam’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation in drug prevention and control. In Vietnam, June 26 serves as the focal point of the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control, marked by nationwide communication campaigns and practical activities with broad public participation, reaffirming the country’s determination to resolutely combat drug threat.
