Ho Chi Minh City welcomes 2,000 cruise tourists

Most passengers are from European countries such as the UK, France and Italy. During their stay, they are scheduled to visit major attractions in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby destinations, including the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market, and several sites in Ba Ria–Vung Tau.

Ho Chi Minh City (VNA) – Italian cruise ship Costa Deliziosa docked at SP-PSA Port in Ho Chi Minh City on February 22, bringing 1,959 international tourists and 892 crew members on a visit at the start of the Lunar New Year.

Border guards completed immigration procedures quickly after receiving electronic declarations in advance. Officers boarded the vessel offshore to process entry formalities and issued shore passes before the ship arrived at the port.

During their stay, they are scheduled to visit major attractions in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby destinations, including the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market, and several sites in Ba Ria–Vung Tau.

The Costa Deliziosa, part of a four-month global voyage that departed from Barcelona three months ago, is expected to leave the southern city on the evening of February 22 for Singapore./.
