Hanoi (VNA) – VinFast on January 30 announced a completed master plan for its electric motorbike portfolio, structured into three segments — mass-market, premium and sport — while introducing seven all-new models in the premium and sport categories.
The move is seen as a strategic step underscoring the company’s ambition to lead Vietnam’s electrified mobility shift and reshape the country’s electric two-wheeler market.
According to the automaker, its electric motorbike ecosystem is designed to meet a broad range of consumer needs, from personal transportation and ride-hailing services to high-end customers and performance enthusiasts. The clear division into three product lines is expected to help users select models more easily while laying a foundation for core technology development, improved riding experiences and higher safety standards.
In the mass-market segment, VinFast already offers a wide lineup that has gained traction with consumers, including the Amio, ZGoo, Flazz, Evo, Evo Grand, Feliz, Feliz II, Vero X and Viper. These models target mainstream riders, focusing on low operating costs and suitability for both personal commuting and commercial transport services.
Alongside its mainstream offerings, VinFast for the first time announced two entirely new electric motorbike lines: premium and sport.
The premium range will include three models — Rasad, Sadie and Saxil — positioned for customers seeking enhanced aesthetics, advanced technology and a refined riding experience. Rasad adopts a maxi-scooter style with a muscular design and is expected to feature a centrally mounted motor with a peak output of 7,100W and a top speed of up to 100kph.
Sadie and Saxil, meanwhile, feature a more elegant, rounded design highlighted by diamond-shaped lighting clusters. Both are expected to use centrally mounted motors delivering up to 4,500W, with maximum speeds of 80kph, suited for premium urban mobility.
VinFast’s sport lineup will comprise four models developed in naked-bike, cruiser and supersport styles. The Subab and Surad naked bikes are designed for daily versatility, while the cruiser Sudub is aimed at longer journeys with a relaxed riding posture. The supersport Sulad features aerodynamic fairings to ensure stability at high speeds.
All four sport models are expected to be equipped with electric motors delivering up to 50,000W — comparable to a 600cc petrol-powered motorcycle — with maximum speeds reaching 130kph, alongside high-performance battery systems designed for extended range.
Hoang Ha, CEO of VinFast’s electric motorbike business in Vietnam, said the revamped portfolio aims to “redefine” the country’s electric motorbike market by turning the vehicles into expressions of individuality, passion and social responsibility.
VinFast plans to launch commercial versions of its premium models in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by its first sport motorbikes in the second quarter of 2027, he added./.
