Hanoi (VNA) – VinFast on January 13 announced its 2025 business results, setting a new record in Vietnam’s automotive market with a total of 175,099 electric vehicles (EV) delivered to domestic customers.

The achievement has enabled VinFast to maintain its position as the market leader for 15 consecutive months, while also establishing a new benchmark for Vietnam’s auto industry.

According to the company, December 2025 marked the highest-ever monthly sales figure recorded by any automaker in Vietnam, with 27,649 VinFast EVs delivered. The strong performance in the final month of the year propelled total annual deliveries far beyond previous records, making VinFast the best-selling car brand in the history of the Vietnamese market.

Notably, VinFast’s 2025 sales nearly doubled the previous record held by foreign brands. This not only reflects the company’s rapid growth, but also underscores a clear shift in Vietnamese consumer preferences toward EVs, positioning Vietnam as one of the fastest-growing EV markets in the region.

Over the past year, VinFast’s diverse product lineup has helped it gain a strong foothold across most market segments. In the small-car and personal vehicle segments, the VF 3, VF 5 and VF 6 posted sales of 44,585 units, 43,913 units and 23,291 units, respectively. Meanwhile, mid-size and large SUVs such as the VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 maintained steady demand among family users and business customers.

Vehicles designed for commercial services also made a significant contribution. Limo Green recorded sales of 27,127 units, while Herio Green reached 12,568 units, highlighting the effectiveness of VinFast’s customer-oriented product strategy.

To support sustainable growth, VinFast has continued to expand its after-sales network and charging infrastructure, now operating around 400 service workshops and more than 150,000 charging ports across 34 provinces and cities.

In parallel, VinFast continues offering practical incentives, including zero-down-payment schemes, discounts of 6–10% on mass-market models, and free charging at V-Green stations until 2027, reinforcing VinFast’s leadership in Vietnam’s EV transition./.
