Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the latest fuel price adjustment, effective from 3:00 pm on January 29, with most oil and petrol products seeing increases.
Accordingly, RON95-III rose by 214 VND, now capped at 18,845 VND (0.72 USD) per litre, while E5 RON 92 increased by 56 VND to a maximum of 18,339 per litre.
The price of Diesel 0.05S is set at 18,173 VND per litre at the maximum, up 1473 VND.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene and mazut 180CST 3.5S are capped at 18,176 VND per litre and 14,633 VND per kg, up 226 VND and 761 VND, respectively.
In this adjustment, the ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund for any of the fuel categories.
Since the beginning of this year, domestic fuel prices have been adjusted five times, with RON95-III and E5RON92 decreased three times and increased twice, each. Meanwhile, diesel prices have fallen twice and risen three times./.
Petrol prices revised up in latest adjustment
Accordingly, E5RON92 petrol is capped at 18,376 VND ( 0.7 USD) per litre, up 143 VND while RON95-III is capped at 18,712 VND per litre, up 152 VND.
