Hanoi (VNA) – VinFast on January 15 rolled out four new electric motorbike models, broadening its product portfolio to address a wide range of urban mobility needs, while completing the rollout of its first 4,500 battery swap stations and setting a target of 45,000 cabinets nationwide by the first quarter of 2026.
The automaker introduced three battery-swappable models, Evo, Feliz II and Viper, designed for different customer segments. It also launched the Amio, a compact pedal-assisted model that does not require a driving licence, aimed primarily at students and short-distance urban commuters.
The Viper stands out with an all-new design and a suite of smart features, including a Smart Key system that enables vehicle tracking, locating and remote on/off control, significantly enhancing anti-theft protection.
The Evo, Feliz II and Viper are all equipped with dual under-seat battery compartments, optimising space and allowing for convenient battery removal and replacement. Each uses LFP battery technology with a 1.5 kWh capacity, ensuring durability and high safety standards.
VinFast said it will accept early deposits for the Evo model from January 15 to January 29, with a listed price of 19.99 million VND (about 760.6 USD), excluding the battery. Early customers will receive a discount of 1 million VND per vehicle, with the first deliveries expected as early as February 2026.
Meanwhile, the Amio features an 800W in-hub motor, a top speed of 30 km/h and a 1.024 kWh LFP battery, offering a maximum range of up to 65 km per full charge.
Beyond new product launches, VinFast has completed the installation of 4,500 battery swap cabinets in 34 provinces and cities, a network estimated to be around 1.5 times larger than the current number of petrol stations nationwide. The company expects this infrastructure to boost consumer confidence in switching to electric motorbikes and help accelerate the greening of urban transport./.
