The Vietnamese Ambassador, Pham Van Que, burnt incense to the Hung Kings to express his gratitude to the nation’s ancestors.

The anniversary of the deaths of the Hung Kings, which falls on the 10th day of the third lunar month, was officially recognised as a national celebration in 2000 and in 2007 the National Assembly approved a proposal to make it a national holiday.

On this occasion, the embassy held a talk on the late President Ho Chi Minh to mark the 120 th anniversary of his birth./.
