Indian naval ship visits Da Nang city

Indian naval ship INS Sahyadri, under the leadership of captain Ashwin Arvind, docked at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang on October 29, beginning its four-day visit to the central city.

During their stay, Indian officers and crew members will pay courtesy visits to leaders of Da Nang city, the High Command of the Navy Zone 3 and the High Command of Border Guard of Da Nang.

They will also have sport exchange activities and visit several tourist attractions in the city.

Besides, they will exchange professional experience and conduct a joint exercise with the Vietnam People’s Navy.

INS Sahyadri is an indigenously built warship of the Shivalik Class. Inducted into the Indian Navy in 2012, the multi-role stealth frigate, boasts an array of weaponry in her arsenal./.
