Speaker of the Indonesia’s House of Representatives Marzuki Alie arrived in Hanoi on Sept. 4, starting his two-day working visit to Vietnam.
Marzuki, who is also president of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assemby, is visiting at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.
Born in 1955, Marzuki Alie used to be Secretary-General of the Indonesian Democratic Party Central Leadership Board for the 2005-2010 tenure.-VNA
