Jakarta (VNA) – The Indonesian Navy Command on August 5 launched the 42nd Armada Jaya exercise in Surabaya, East Java, aimed to strengthen and refine the decision-making capabilities of officers in joint military operations.
The peak training event, set to last until August 15, features field exercises at the command’s headquarters, with online connections to various naval bases of Indonesia, including those in Tanjungpinang and Jakarta.
Over the ten-day period, soldiers will engage in a series of exercises, practice military decision-making processes, and test operational plans with tactical simulations.
Planned military activities during its course include joint maritime operations, amphibious landings, administrative landings, and coastal defence operations./.
Indonesia aims to produce 100,000 oil barrels a day by 2028
Indonesia is trying to increase its oil production that has been dropping since 2020, reversing the declining production trend by exploiting old oil fields and try to find new oil fields, with an aim of producing 100,000 barrels a day by 2028.
