Locals and tourists in Hanoi will have the opportunity to taste different cuisines during a food festival at the Octagon House near Ly Thai To flower garden from June 16-17.

Hanoi (VNA) – Locals and tourists in Hanoi will have the opportunityto taste different cuisines during a food festival at the Octagon House near LyThai To flower garden from June 16-17.

Hanoi’s traditional dish like com Me Tri (Me Tri young rice), tra sen Ho Tay (HoTay lotus tea), banh cuon ba Hoanh (ba Hoanh steamed rolled pancake) and bun ocPhu Dong (Phu Dong rice noodle soup with fresh water snails) will be introducedat 25 booths.

Another 25 booths will provide dishes from Argentina, Australia, China, France,Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Laos and Peru, including empanada of Argentina,Columbian salad, Indonesian satay and Peru’s quinoa salad.

Art performances featuring Hanoi’s culture as well as folk games will also be held.-VNA
