Tokyo (VNA) - The JapaneseMinistry of Foreign Affairs announced on September 16 that the country's government will provide personal protective equipment to help Vietnam fight the COVID-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, Japan will provide Vietnam with 76,000 items of five different types of goods, including 6,920 isolation gowns, 19,800 isolation suits, 20,800 surgical masks, 26,800 gloves and 2,560 alcohol hand rubs. These protective supplies are provided underthe Asia-Europe Fund (ASEF) stockpile project with financial contributionfrom Japan.
The ministry said these goods will be transportedto Vietnam from the warehouse in Singapore in coordination with the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WPRO)./.
