Duong Thi Viet Anh, one of three Vietnamese athletes to take part in the 4th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Hangzhou, won the bronze medal in the high jump on Feb. 18.
Anh was not on her best form due to a knee injury, managing to clear only 1.84m in the event, well below her personal best.
Of the two other Vietnamese athletes, Nguyen Thi Thuy failed to reach the final of the 400m race but Nguyen Thi Phuong still runs in the 3,000m on Feb. 20.
